Description

At Quadraplus professionals will learn how to use Revit Architecture to create full 3D architectural project models and set them up in working drawings. Revit Architecture helps teams collaborate better on designing both interior and exterior elements while improving the time and cost-efficiency of the project as a whole.

Course Objectives

At the completion of this course, learners will be able to

  • Describe building information modeling methodology and its benefits.
  • Use different parts of the Revit Architecture user interface and work with different types of architectural elements and families.
  • Use the different views listed in the Project Browser, control the visibility and graphical
  • Representation of objects in architecture model, and work with elevation, section, and 3D views.
  • Set up a project and transfer standards between projects, add and modify levels in project model, create and modify grids.
  • Work with architectural components such as Grids and Levels, Wall, Floors, Roofs & Ceiling Revit Model Family etc.,
  • Work with documentation components such as text, tag, title block, Colour fill, Schedules etc.,
  • Work with detail views, add 3D and 2D elements and detail components.
  • Work with sheets and title blocks, print sheets, and export Revit architecture content to CAD formats.
  • Import and export data between AutoCAD® and AutoCAD® Architecture and Revit® Structure projects.
  • Link Revit models, coordinate and monitor changes in a current project and a linked project, and check and Fix interference conditions in Revit projects.
  • Work with Conceptual Design Tools, Mass object and Adaptive Curtain Panel.
  • Work with Revit Materials for Revit Projects and Families.
  • Work with Revit Rendering tools with Autodesk 360 Cloud Rendering solution.
